Learn from Anywhere
So, how do online classes work?
- Register for your desired online class from our course catalog (these are NOT recorded classes...these are LIVE classes).
- We ship your physical class materials directly to your home or office.
- Just prior to the scheduled class, you will receive an email with the link and login information for your online classroom.
- At the scheduled time for your class, you will follow the link to the online classroom, joining the instructor and other students for an interactive, hands-on day of learning. It's that simple!
Logical Imagination instructors aren't "book trainers". Yes, they guide you through materials during class; however, when they aren't in the classroom, our instructors are active designers and developers, working on cutting-edge projects for clients worldwide. This allows them to enhance the materials with tips, tricks, insights, and examples from real life and to answer your questions from experience.
Logical Imagination incorporates audio, visual and kinisthetic (hands-on) techniques in every class. Typically, the instructor explains a new concept while showing a live demo, allowing you to listen and watch on your own screen. Then you have an opportunity to try your new skills with a hands-on exercise. The instructor answers questions and reviews the solution before moving on to the next new concept. You can give the instructor permission to view your computer, if desired, to provide one-on-one assistance.
Logical Imagination's public online classes are taught using GoToMeeting, so you don't have to travel and can attend from your home, office or anywhere with a high-speed internet connection. To accommodate multiple time zones, courses are typically scheduled from 10am - 5pm Eastern with a one-hour lunch break at 1pm Eastern and a 10-minute break in the morning and afternoon. If we are conducting a custom online course for your group, class times can be varied to fit your schedule.
Logical Imagination does not cancel public classes due to low enrollment, so we will run the class even if you are the only student. However, we will give you the option to reschedule if you prefer to be in a session with more people.
Logical Imagination prefers small class sizes (typically 2 - 8 students), allowing the instructor to focus on individual performance and issues and to work closely with you to meet your unique needs. Classes are designed to be a hands-on learning experience, providing opportunities for you to try your new skills while the instructor is available for questions and feedback.
Classes are held in online classrooms hosted by GoToMeeting, allowing you to see the instructor's presentation and computer screen and to listen to your instructor at all times as long as your computer is equipped with speakers. If you don't have a microphone, you can still submit questions or comments via the classroom's chat interface. And, with your permission, the instructor can view your computer screen if you need individual assistance.
Once you register and pay for a class, Logical Imagination sends you the class materials via mail. Usually, this consists of a workbook as well as written instructions for properly setting up your computer for class, including how to download and install any class files. A few days prior to class, you will also receive an email with the setup instructions as well as your classroom login information.
If you would like a short, live demo of a class, please contact us. Logical Imagination's online classrooms are hosted by GoToMeeting. If you want to see if your computer meets the minimum requirements for joining us in a GoToMeeting classroom, please visit the system requirements test page.
100% Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied, Logical Imagination will give you credit toward another course or a full refund as long as you followed the class setup instructions and had your computer ready before the beginning of class. Setup instructions are emailed along with your classroom login information.
